venice

Today we spent the entire day in venice...


We saw glass blowing...



the red and pink glass are the most precious as to get the colour they use bits of gold...


but they are all beautiful...


visited St Mark's square and the basilica...


where the floor looks like a set of hills have taken up residence on the inside...


and there is water on parts of the ground floor...


and basically just strolled around all day...


its was exhausting...


but its a magical city...

pity its sinking...


and they have no idea how to fix it...


or even if its financially viable...

tomorrow its back on the bus to Rome,
lots of love and hugz.
